INTERNATIONAL HIGHER EDUCATION FAIR & CONFERENCE DESTINED FOR GHANA
Ghana’s Higher Education Fair is back for its second edition with more exhibition space and a highly educational and informative conference running parallel with it. Supported by the Ministry of Education, National Accreditation Board and the Council of Vice Chancellors and with the theme Education, innovation, research and sustainable development - present and future, this year’s event is expected to be bigger, better and more informative than ever before.

The Higher Education Fair is a unique endeavor to connect education institutions in Ghana with aspiring students and other supporting agencies. The exhibition will showcase the finest Ghanaian universities, colleges and educational institutions as well as other international institutes and agencies from across the globe seeking to recruit students from within Ghana’s educational space.
The Higher Education Fair will focus on the strengths of Ghana’s private education system while providing an exciting platform for introducing the cream of its entire tertiary learning establishments to an eager and growing pool of potential students able to fund their own educational needs.

Say’s Kwami Ahiabenu of co-organiser, Knowledge Innovations, “The private educational sector is growing at a rapid pace, partly in response to the overcrowded and poorly resourced public universities as well as the unending cycle of educational reform which continues to afflict public education.”

The Minister of Education, Hon Alex Tettey-Enyo, has been invited to share his thoughts on Ghana’s higher education sector when he addresses conference delegates on 24 February 2010 prior to declaring the 3-day event officially open.

Other participants in the Higher Education Fair are expected to include publishers of books and educational software, suppliers of online courses, international educational consultants, educational technology suppliers, government ministries, departments and agencies, banks, insurance companies and financial services and many more.

The Higher Education Fair & Conference is organized by Knowledge Innovations and EXPO Promotions and takes place from 24-26 February 2010 at the International Conference Centre, Accra, Ghana.
