It was announced by the organiser that Accra is to be the venue for the 13th West Africa Information & Communications Technology Conference & Exhibition which will take place at the International Conference Centre from 22 to 24 October 2009.
With the theme The expanding interface between technology and your lifestyle AITEC 2009 will be taking a look at how subliminal technology in our daily work and home environment can benefit our lifestyles. Ambient intelligence surrounds us in the car, the home, school and office. AITEC has been an annual gathering point for Ghana’s information and communication technology business community since 1997. Based in Cambridge in the United Kingdom, it has been supporting Ghana’s IT community with marketing and training events for over thirteen years. This year’s event is expected to attract visitors and other participants, including Ghana’s leading banks, insurance companies and financial institutions, the oil industry, construction and engineering companies, logistics suppliers, NGO’s, government MDA’s and hundreds of others, would welcome the opportunity to meet Ghana’s leading ICT organizations at AITEC ‘09.
